    Great presentation. I can´t help noticing you eat a lot of wheat bread (light bread). In Denmark we use light bread for jam and honey our main course bread is dark bread made of rye. We learn from early age, that dark bread is more healthy for our bodies than light bread. Do you have that in New Zealand and what do you think about that?

    You are very good at drawing what is in your lunch. You are doing a fantastic job at sharing your learning with the world. You have made connections with people in lots of different countries. I like looking at your cluster map to see who has looked lately.

We read the book The Tree House Treaty by Wiremu Grace.   The children in the story built a tree hut in a big old Pohutakawa tree.  They made a treaty to agree how they could all use their tree hut fairly. We created our own class treaty to symbolize how our class is a friendly and supportive learning environment.

Swimming

Everyday we have swimming. We have people who are learning to get their faces wet by playing ring-a-rosie. Some of us are learning to kick so the water bubbles. And some of us are learning to do freestyle without splashing the water by cupping our hands. On Fridays we get to practice our swimming by having free time. It is fun! Today we made a whirlpool. We made it go fast and it started dragging us. Then we went the other way. It was hard because the water was pushing us back. When we finished the water was pushing us along.

This week is the beginning of our Quad Blogging.  This is a great way to connect with other classes around the world. It is when you have other classes around the world that are your friends.
