Money doesn't grow on trees; so what does?
We were wondering why money doesn't grow on trees. Catherine and Robyn came to teach us about plants, trees and things that grow on trees.
They told us things that grow on trees. They showed us leaves, branches, flowers, bark, fruit, walnuts, lichen and fungi.
When we were exploring the things that grow on trees it felt like nature was flowing through us.
We planted a kahikatia tree and sang the kahikatia song to bless our tree. We are excited to watch it grow and we talked about coming back to check on our tree in the future. We were told the kahikatia can grow to be very tall and strong. Even taller than our very own redwood tree.
Do you know what grows on trees?
that was cool. and we learned about nature by Liliana Room 14
