Swimming

Everyday we have swimming. We have people who are learning to get their faces wet by playing ring-a-rosie.


Some of us are learning to kick so the water bubbles.

And some of us are learning to do freestyle without splashing the water by cupping our hands.


On Fridays we get to practice our swimming by having free time. It is fun!

Today we made a whirlpool. We made it go fast and it started dragging us. Then we went the other way. It was hard because the water was pushing us back. When we finished the water was pushing us along.

    If it's not enough to have sunshine, a pool as well. Yep, we are just a little jealous.

      Yes we are lucky to have a pool. We have stopped swimming now as the pool isn't heated and the weather is starting to turn chilly.

    You are doing some great swimming. I love making whirlpools. It looks like you are having a lot of fun.
    Do you know last week everyone in Room 4 brought their togs? I was so proud of them for remembering.

      We have swimming lessons everyday but on Fridays we are allowed a free swim when we just get to practice and play in the water. It is so much fun.

      That sounds like you guys hav elots of fun. Do you enjoy doing the lessons? Do you like doing swimming lessons everyday? When you do the lessons do you enjoy the lessons more like learning more things or do you like the free time better? I hope you can get back to me thanks!

      Our pool doesn't have a name. The pool is part of our school and not too far from our classroom.

    Hi my name is Jacey. I go to Muir Lake Shool in Stony Plain Canada. My class is going swiming in April. The people that work at the pool are going to tech us how to swim better then we can it is going to be so much fun. One of the things I love to do is swim. I thik I swim verey good.

    hey,my names greisen im nine years old you guys are so lucky you have warm weather and you swim every day here in alberta freezing but im use to it i play basket ball,swimming,use to do gymnatics and soccer also im starting volley ball and more i want to tell you a routeen you should do evry moring and night here it is do 40 push ups are and do 20 sit ups or more every morning and night trust me it helps. so see ya you guys are awesome.

    Hi my name is Hendrik. I love swimming I like all the toys and other stuff.Do you have a slide at the swimming pool? We have one big slide I love to go on it.We have three pools one is the kitte pool the other one is the big pool it is around 15 feet bip. Finnly but not last the hot tub it's realy hot. buy for now!

      Our pool isn't huge and it is not very deep. We don't have a slide but we think it would be fun to have one.

      Some of us have only ever been able to swim at school and are still quite nervous of the water. Some of us have been able to swim lots and go to the city pools - Waterworld - and have fun on the weekends and in the holidays. We would all like to swim more.

    It is so awsome that you get to go swimming every day! My class only gose swiming once every couple months.In April we go for lessons all the other times its fun.

      We are only able to swim while the weather is warm so we swim everyday so that we get as much time learning as we can. Our pool is not heated so once the weather cools we have to stop swimming.

    Hi my name is Josie i was born in england but i moved to canada in august last year.I go to school at Muir lake
    thats in stony plain. My dads a police man and my mom is a
    a spa lady she is so good theres people from diffrent places just coming to the spa and they ask to be treated by my mom.We have lots of pets we have 1 hamster 2 dogs 3 cats 2 chinchilars and 2 horses and we newsed to have 6 kittens and 5 pupies but we had to sell them cause they had to go a way from there mom but we kept one of the white kittens but we couldnt convince mom for a puppie.
    Any way swimming looks realy fun your so luck to mhave a pool.
