HES Glee Club

Did you know Hamilton East School has a Glee Club?
Today we were lucky enough to see their dress rehearsal for their concert. We were amazed. These students are so talented and we are incredibly proud of them.
Take a sneak peek at some of the songs they will sing at the concert.

Glee Club Concert is on Thursday 1 December at 6:30pm in the 
Hamilton East School Hall.

    Fantastic Stuff Room 14!!!

    As a teacher who LOVES singing it's great to see such talented students who are willing to perform and share their gifts with others,

    as i'm unable to make it up to Hamilton for the concert would it be possible to put a few performances on here for me to enjoy?? ;)

    Wow!
    I like doing the Glee club.We all can't wait till the parents come and watch us perform. Thanks to Jessie for helping us. I loved performing with the school watching us.

    I think you all have talant I also loved Jaden singing. I think your all are going to be dancers and singers when you grow up you might proform in front of other people as well.

We read the book The Tree House Treaty by Wiremu Grace.   The children in the story built a tree hut in a big old Pohutakawa tree.  They made a treaty to agree how they could all use their tree hut fairly. Swimming

Everyday we have swimming. We have people who are learning to get their faces wet by playing ring-a-rosie. Some of us are learning to kick so the water bubbles. And some of us are learning to do freestyle without splashing the water by cupping our hands. On Fridays we get to practice our swimming by having free time. It is fun! Today we made a whirlpool. We made it go fast and it started dragging us. Then we went the other way. It was hard because the water was pushing us back. When we finished the water was pushing us along.
