Little Kitchen Experiment. Making Jelly

Image
This morning my class made some delicious jelly.  It tasted like fruit- like strawberry.  It smelt like peaches.  Ashen  Jelly is yummy and it tastes like lollies.  It's delicious but when I eat the jelly, I want to have some more.  Soni The jelly looks like gel.  It tastes delicious.  It also looked dazzling in the light.  It smells good and tasty.  It was in the fridge for a long time.  It took a long time to set.  I had mine in a little cup and when I had it I felt happy.  It felt slippery and slimy on my tongue.  Charlotte

Our class hand fed this poor deformed butterfly for three weeks!  We fed him sugar water and lots of fresh fruit.  Apple was his favourite.  He had a long coiled tongue which he would roll out and suck up the liquid.  Slurp! He tried and tried to fly.  We would often see him flapping his wings furiously.  We are so glad the weather is getting warmer.  We will see more butterflies.
